    We can do this with contestants simply putting in who they expect to cover or we can take the 35 games and assign a number, one thru 35 to our expected winners, with 35 the game we're surest of and 1 for the game we're the least sure. Which system do you favor? I'm giving you 8 days so you can do your research. I an soooo fired up over the Central Mich-Western Kentucky and Bowling Green- San Jose St. games.

  • Please no homework assignments. 35 is a lot of games with that format. Just my single vote. Although I'm up for anything.

  • I like the voting But probably won't work in this format. I also suggest we provide some sort of stakes to this event.

    Finally, a lifelong friend of mine is taking a major promotion and will be the state manager for Washington. He is likely moving to Seattle within the next month. I want you two to meet and beginning planning for my arrival sometime in late 2013.

  • Alright brother K, I just setup an ESPN College Bowl Pick'em group that lets you assign confidence and does all the calculation for us.

    I still want to do yours because we're using the spread here, but I wouldn't go through the effort of trying to calculated winners vs spread and confidence values. This one is like gambling, the other is a game.

  • So it's 3-1 for doing it the simple old way. Wh4p: What stakes are you thinking of? I'm sure that using this site for any reward or financial gain would be in violation would be in violation of the law.

    And for the record .. i'm in favor of the old way of keeping score. The weighted system is fine if a computer program can do the work .. i.e. the bowl pick em confidence whatever thing.
