Street & Donald Back in '13?

  • Looks like both want to be on PITT's roster when the miracle happens.

  • Am I the only one that laughed at even the assumption that either of them had an option?

Street will likely be drafted with a good season next year but he isn't an elite WR now and likely won't be next season. He's a fine college WR though.

Donald is like so many other recent Pitt NT. They all had fine careers but none are playing in the NFL. I don't think any were even drafted? They are all lightning quick 5'10" 300 lb kids who are unblockable for the average college G. The average NFL G is a former all-conferance college OT who is bigger and as quick as the types of kids Pitt has been recruiting including Donald.

You're not the only one. I don't see how they think they're ready for the NFL.

Last year Street was being run out of town by the fans. Now some people think he's ready for the NFL?

He's good. But not that good. (yet)

  • Same here, I'm not sure either one is worth a NFL roster spot, much less declaring early for the draft. I could see them on a teams practice squad for a few years.

  • "• Chryst said he has not ruled out any injured players from playing Saturday, including tight end Hubie Graham, who didn’t practice last week and has battled shoulder and ankle pain most of the season."

    That could be good news.

  • Donald needed to come back in my opinion because he can still improve. Donald can play in the league as a rotational tampa 2 3 tech. But, he has to work on a few small things in the process.

  • Street would probably be a 5/6 round pick this year. If he comes back and has a phenonimal year, he could be a top 4 round pick...if not he stays a 5/6 round pick.

Donald, as steel says needs to come back and work on things. He doesn't have the size, so he needs to become better with his hands and moves. Probably would have been a top 4 round guy this year who could move up to top 3 with a great year next year.
