I went to the commit list and noticed TraVon Chapman has 3 stars and below that there are 4 stars. What does that mean?
Also, who determines the stars. Is it a group at 24/7? Or Bob and some others?
I'm new to this pay board. That's why I have questions.

The first ranking is the 247 ranking the second ranking is called the 247 Composite which takes rankings from ESPN, Scout, Rivals and comes up with an average score. At least that is how I interpret it. I'm new myself. I'm guessing the national and regional analysts would determine the rankings. I have not been a part of that, so when or if I am I'll know more about it. Welcome to the site

If that's the case Bob, then that's very cool. I've often wondered what the average of all relevant scouting sites would be.

How is chapman a 3 star on here that's stupid. All the other sites he's a 4 star.

The evaluation system 247 uses is different than the other sites.
Supposedly it's more about pro potential, but I wouldn't put money on it.

I personally think as a QB he is a 3 star. As an athlete, I see him as a 4 star.
