The bottom half of the Big is worse in my opinion. Alot worse.

I'd be willing to bet it's the Saban to Cleveland rumors about him and Mike Lombardi going back to Cleveland together. If you go back and watch the NFL football life show about Belichik they go over about how Lombardi and Saban were part of that staff and how they felt bad they couldn't get it turned around before the move.

I wouldn't be suprised if both Saban and Lombardi wanted to go back and finish what they started + Saban proving he can coach in the NFL. Foster probably asked, will you be here for 4 years, Saban said yup, next day he hears about Saban to NFL rumors.

Think about it, what could Pitt lie about? Not position they are recruiting him for or PT, as he's a WR no doubt and there is very little doubt he'll start opposite Street next year.

Does it? He didn't say I hate when colleges lie to you, now I have to re-think this again. He just said, I hate when colleges lie to you....and we all know about how bad he hates the receuiting process. He could just be stating his dissapproval of the lie, but then took it off because he knew it would cause 100000000 people to ask what the lie is and also how pissed said school would be because he called their coach a liar.

It's in bad taste to screw with people. But if you're bored enough you'll do just about anything for a laugh. People .. gotta love em.

That's a heck of an observation BG. Gotta doubt that (Shell wears #4) .. seems more likely to be the Saban stuff. But i don't think it means he was leaning towards Alabama. I think he's looking for reasons to justify selecting Pitt. Rationalization? Nothing wrong with that.

I also think Bama had a WR in town this past weekend who was previously / may still be a soft verbal to USC. Perhaps they told him he was their one and only WR target?

The thing is, I'm pretty sure the jersey numbers are always the High School numbers of the visitors. That's true, but it's also an obvious and easy explanation if that's the reason Foster is upset.

That would seem like a silly thing to be upset about, but wide receivers tend to focus on style points.

- He absolutely loves Bobby Engram. He's been recruiting him the hardest.
- His mom LOVES Pitt and the coaching staff. We are guessing that his mom may steer the decision more than his dad.
- Pitt has a great history with Beaver County kids.
- He's good friends with Rushel Shell [commit from last year] and Chandler Kincaide [2014 QB Commit]. Starting a few years ago, they all talked about playing together at Pitt.
- We all talk about playing time and not having as much in his way to get on the field. I don't know if he has ever said that himself.
- Pitt is closer.

There may be other things but that is off the top of my head. Obviously Alabama has a TON of selling points. But we think that those points above [+ possibly more] are the edges for Pitt in the end.

Looks like we'll know soon. Friday he'll announce. The Bama mods hear he wants to go to Bama, but his Mom wants him close at Pitt. They won't make a prediction.

We've been down this road before with out of state recruits. Last year it worked out well for us with Landon Collins. But usually momma will get her way in these battles. We just have a lot more going for us than the average out of state school. But if Mom gets sick of the cold, she could always move down here.
