The statement says he is recruiting players for Pitt, I doubt he is recruiting players for Pitt if he is not going to be at Pitt. I understand the skepticism given the past few years of history with Pitt's coaching merry go round, but like I said before, until I see a reason not to believe him, I am taking him at his word.
I feel not only more comfortable after the statement, but I believe like some of the other posters said, that this could actually be good for recruits on the fence who now know he is committed to Pitt.
This is a huge recruiting weekend and the Saturday night basketball game at the Pete will be another recruiting showcase. My money is on him being there hosting recruits and wearing a Pitt jacket.

I was looking on the internet for a Jamie Dixon statement about not being interested in ASU, TCU, Oregon, Maryland, DePaul etc.....but I could never find any. I wanted to try and compare the wording of how he did it to how Chryst did it to see if maybe this is just how Pitt authors the statements. Has Jamie ever even issued a statement? The one article I did find was him saying that "we choose not to comment on other school's searches"...

Everything points to him staying at Pitt right now. This guy has done nothing that screams "I don't trust him" so until he breaks that or gives me a reason I will take him at his word
