For sure they'd have to start four years but all could do just that.
But again given today's pass happy offenses its not that hard to average 244.
Here's an interesting observation. When will we have a back pass tony ds career yardage stats given how the run game has taken a back seat to the pass game. Moreover there doesn't seem to be the one back that gets all the carries any longer. The point is comparing stats from one era to another is very difficult because the game changes so much.
But I get your point. Tino has had a decent career stats wise

I'm surprised there hasn't been more conversation about that. First Sunseri takes that sack - then Chryst starts laying into him after Sunseri comes off the field, Sunseri looks off and rolls his eyes (sort of)... then a few seconds later Chryst was screaming and hauling ass down to where Sunseri was sitting.
It made me think that Sunseri was back talking and Chryst was having none of it.

Do they keep stats on throwing yourself to the ground a yard or two short of the sticks, on 3rd down, in order to avoid contact? My guess is Tino would be #1 by a mile.
This is the epitome of why these stats mean nothing, It would be sacrilege to have his name in front of Marino.

When I posted these Sunseri stats the first time a few posters came back and said "It was a different era in football back then, teams passed less and ran more."
But in reality the facts show that Dan Marino threw more passes per game than Sunseri has yet Sunseri has a higher ypa rate. Sunseri's 7.57 ypa to Marino's 7.14 ypa. Marino beats him out with ypc in 12.4 to 11.7.
Kinda sheds a new light on Sunseri's 'dinking and dunking' only. Marino's completion rate was almost 7 points less than Sunseri's so that shows he hit more deeper passes but overall their completion and attempt rates are comparable.
Forget about TDs and INTs - Marino was like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with those. He far surpassed Sunseri in TDs - 79 to 47. Then Sunseri turns around and bests Marino in INTs throw in 22 to 69.
I would never have though that coming off Sunseri's 2010 year he'd rack up so many positives statistically speaking.
Thank you Steve Pederson!

What does it mean if he gets an NFL camp invite? If NFL coaches think enough of him to give him a shot to prove himself, then does he still suck? Is he still not a D1 qb?
QB, Goalie, Starting pitching..... the 3 worst jobs in sports because that's all people like to point the finger at.

Unless my math is off or the Internets is mistaken Tino Sunseri (8,405 yds) has moved past Tyler Palko (8,343 yds) into the #3 spot and trails Dan Marino (8,597 yds) in the All-Time Passing Yardage spot by 192 yards.
No one is going to touch Alex Van Pelt at the #1 spot with 11,267 yards.
In addition, with no INTs last night, Sunseri threw two INTs in 361 pass attempts for an astronomical 0.005 % rate. His INT:TD ratio this season is 0.105% - basically one INT for every 10 TDs.
In Russel Wilson's great SR year at Wisconsin he had a 0.012% INT rate. His INT:TD ratio was 0.121%
All kidding aside and as we know stats are just that, Tino Sunseri does deserve to be recognized for his production both this year and over his full career.

Please give a list of games where Tino was the sole reason for the sacks taken and what games those resulted in losses.
They don't have a record of sacks taken back in 02/03 but Rutherford lost more yardage in those 2 seasons than Tino has the past 2 years.

I refuse to argue with you cause all you'll say is it was the OL's fault. Its a dumb argument.
The Cuse game this year...deep in Cuse territory...in FG range...Sunseri takes the critical sack to push us out of FG range and thus lose the game.
The WVU game last year....2 minutes left....sacked repeatedly....and all we needed was to get into FG range.
I could go on and on....but you'll pull the lame OL fault crap WHEN NO....any decent QB gets rid of the rock and lives for another down.
