No they don't. 2 years ago at Heinz I had my dad, nephew and 3 kids at the WVU game. We were waiting to get through security and they screaming all kinds of expletives, F this, F PITT, eat sh!t PITT, then one guy tried to start a fight with a PITT fan that told a guy to shut up and have some class. Then we are standing there saying nothing other than me telling my dad that I can't believe how poorly they act in a low tone. Next thing I know my oldest daughter shrieks and I look at over and see a huge hocker hangin from her cheek. Luckily the lady next to us had a kleenex to wipe it off. I have no idea who it was or what direction it came from, but I would have knocked the guy out that did it.

So then I went to the Brawl this year with adult friends. I hadn't been to one since right after college. I was amazed at how worse they were. Just walking by a tailgate and they are swearing ans screaming at you. And I'm not a little guy and they still persisted. At halftime my buddy asked me what PITT needed to do to go to the BCS. When I started to answer him some 20 something chick yells in my ear, "PITT's not going to the BCS". So I continue to answer and she persists. So I looked at her and told her to "STFU, I'm not talking to you". She said something back me liking her, so I laid into her. Telling her she was rude and had no business opening her mouth. And the funny thing is that she is probably from PA and couldn't get into PITT so she went to WVU. So now she acting like an idiot and she the exact type of chick that take home for the night but not someone that I would date because she is stupid. She shut up and her boyfriend stood there and didn't say a word.

Then we are walking out of the game through the parking lot and these college kids were screaming and taunting PITT fans. One kid says "Eat Sh!t PITT" to my friends wife. So she says, "Eat PITT's Sh!t" because she was tired of it. He called her a C U N T. We stopped then and there and his buddies chastised him, apologized and took him away before he got smacked.

I want no parts of people who act like this. It's just a football game...............

Couldn't agree more. What makes it even worse, is that while most fan bases have a few of these "unhinged" fans, WVU seems to have more and more, and they take pride in being like that! And then they wonder why their repuation is not good across the country. Really? My daughter wanted to go to Morgantown for a game a few years ago when she was in high school, I basically said over my dead body. There is no way I was going to allow her to go and be responsible for what may happen, I told her I would not even go due to the part of their "fanbase" that seems to feel like this is acceptable behavior. Acceptable there, but no where else! As a disclaimer, I do know some reasonable and "coherant" hoopie fans, but the percentage of those you describe Ghost is way above normal, and seems the admin there turns a blind eye to it more often than not. I would not lose sleep if we never played them in any sport again, don't care about the "rivalry".

Someone send me a message when they've discovered how to Delete a Post on this site, so then the Nitter can remove his post. I don't want to look at the Hypocrite's pic anymore on here.
