Bowling Green is actually a really nice town. We moved there for my senior year of high school. Of course, I might just think it looked nice because I had been living in the AK valley for the six years prior, so any change would be an improvement. But BGKY has the most restaurants per capita in the country, a couple of good new schools, and so on. The Corvette plant is there (and thus several tier-1 suppliers) so it's teeming with well-educated Midwesterners. Good housing. Hour or so from Nashville. Overall, if you're headed to Purgatory, that's the Purgatory to choose.

Now, if you accidentally drive outside of Warren County and find yourself amongst the still-ongoing family feuds in Butler County or Edmondson County...
