OT: PA Treasury May Owe You Money

Some of the 'unclaimed money' lying around in the PA treasury may have your name on it. See the following article...
Here is also a link to see if you are eligible. I did it and am getting some $$$ back from an annuity my Mom left me back in 1978 when the State couldn't find me after I enlisted in the Coast Guard (under $100 though).

Good stuff.
Here's an idea, instead of the state holding people's money with the possibility of them somehow searching for it, why don't they just send the money to the righfull owners??

It isn't the State's burden, it is the debtors. After so many years they have to release it to the state to hold. Let's just be glad they don't turn around and use it right away when they get it.
