Rumors are still swirling regarding the Browns two of footballs hottest properties.
cleveland.sbnation.comI attach this older link only because it directly answers your question. TINY LITTLE LEGS.
Given that this rumor was around in October, and given that there is a new link on the subject, then perhaps this is the sort of thing that Foster could interpret as a lie. It's a stretch, but it's at least a plausible stretch.

Former NFL coach Nick Saban has No. 1 Alabama in position to win its third national title in four years. If he gives the pros another shot, would it really be with the Cleveland Browns?
www.sbnation.comMaybe he's getting bored with college football and his ego is pushing him back to the NFL to prove he can win there? Cleveland would be a good job. They have a good fan base and the new ownership could help immensely.
Bama is the cream of the college crop though. IMO Bama' trumps ND in every way. Leaving there would be REAL tough.
LOL! The Nitters think it's only PITT fans who make jokes about them. Below is a link to Bama Scout board with this post:
Here is a Browns fan who claims to have family ties with the Sabans that says no way he leaves Alabama, especially for Cleveland:
"Saban Rumor - He laughed
I happen to know quite a few people connected to Saban (family ties). Let me end the rumors now, dude ain't leaving 'Bama basically ever. Was told this morning, "Nick had a good laugh over the rumor. He is basically the King of Tuscaloosa. Think Joe Pa, minus the kiddie raping, and he actually wins."

A little birdie told me it all rides on where Cleveland finishes this season. If they get the 1st draft choice he's gonzo. How can you pass up the chance to draft Mike Mauti and win the next 10 Super Bowls.
Browns would have to move up through trades, no chance they get the first pick, I guess they could mathematically, but I highly doubt it

OT: Any legs to the Saben to Browns story?
