Here's the thing... That, theorhetically, wouldn't exist unless this was a legit rumor or McKillop had a custom helmet made to troll us.

It's a revolution helmet, which didn't exist when pitt wore a similar helmet. Also, the 80's neon helmets had a helmet stripe. And it's not one of the ones from the YSU throwback game, because those were more of the "correct" mustard gold.

So, this helmet exists, somewhere, for some reason. There's gotta be SOMETHING to it. No way McKillop would make a custom helmet just to troll Pitt fans.

This is exactly what I went looking for. I went to see if it was the same helmet as from YSU a few years back or from Palko at the Senior Bowl. Nope.

Those are absolutely the right colors.

Either way, we can agree that that helmet has no reason to exist, correct? Nothing like it has ever been worn by Pitt.

What I find odd is why would he have a helmet with no facemask.

That's what I mean though. Like, if he bought it on his own or something, you'd think the facemask would be attached.

It doesnt seem to have the stripes down the middle. Even IF...a big IF...Stevie P caved and brought back the helmets for 1 game - i can bet he will still $crew it up. The guy's a complete dolt.

I once bought a sheet of script helmet stickers on ebay. Anybody can slap one on a helmet.

I can't imagine that Smilin Steve would EVER let this happen on his watch. You'd be more likely - seriously - to see a Dinocat throwback, since he is the only person on Earth (aside from my 3 -year old son) who likes that logo.
