He'll be there. I've said it all along and I don't think he ever realisticly considered leaving nor do I think he was realisticly considered by Alvarez.
My take on Chryst's announcement and some of its perceived vagueness: His agent wrote the announcement. What he told the recruits/players were his own thoughts. This is a dead issue IMO.

Makes perfect sense too. Not to mention the huge irony of not hiring Alvarez when we had the chance back in '89
Pitt should fire SP and replace him with me. After all, I'm a Washington, Pa product.
I'd gladly take a pay cut to serve Pitt in that regard.
I say no, he won't be here.
As hard as it is to say to the players he's not going to be here....it has to be even harder to tell your family no, you won't be going home for a promotion and a pay increase. Plus he would be telling his mother no, I won't be home to work in our hometown. If it was me, it would be a no-brainer.
