I-79 A relative short Interstate

From Erie, PA to Charleston, WV. But you can call it the cradle of football coaching. If you draw a 50 mile line both East and West from I-79 the number and quality of football coaches is amazing. For geographical purposes, think Ashtabula and Youngstown, OH is in this area, and East about to Johnstown, PA.

Ted Marchibroda should be added as well.
But most people forget the obvious old school choice, even though we are reminded of him once a year. John Heisman played his high school football at Titusville and coached at Auburn and Clemson.
