Millen the Apologist didn't acquit himself very well today. Some very poor choices of words.

Spot on shruggs. On the other hand, Millen said a mouthful. Like, we are all victims of joe!

I repeat. Millen and most from psu are all victims and brained washed by joe. Say you're sorry you sorry SOB's There is a start.

  • Let's see - the Head Football Coach and the Athletic Director are central figures in covering up a child-molester scandal to protect the reputation of the football program and the university (and their own reputations). Some child molestation takes place in the football building, and apparently on trips to football games... The molester is allowed free access to the football facilities and takes showers in the football building with boys... This stuff goes on for at least 14 years...

If this doesn't add up to "lack of institutional control" regarding the football program at Penn State, then the NCAA should just scratch that provision from their bylaws.

  • And now there is this (from TOS)...it gets worse and worse:

Joe Paterno Gave Jerry Sandusky The Option To Keep Coaching

In 1999, at which time Paterno, Schultz, Curley and Spanier were all aware of the incident with Victim 6 the year before, Jerry Sandusky was given the choice of retiring, or staying on indefinitely.

  • I wish there were more old hippie professionals on this site or any Pitt site. We dumped Republican scumbag Nixon- those same people would be marching on Happy Valley right now. We need the real BLACK PANTHERS- Mark May, Hugh Green, Superman Sam Clancy, the spirit of Ironhead, Ricky Jackson, Tony D., Reuben Brown and Aaron Donald to lead us pencil necks into battle. The New Black Panthers are like The New Leave It To Beaver- cheap imitations of the real thing.

As I said stuff like this and worse is going to be dug up. This is consistent with the line of thinking that Sandusky had a ton of Shite on Joe and the Program which is why they treated him with kid gloves, in light of his known child molesting activities. If they were clean they easily could have told him to go pound salt.

This is just the tip of the iceburg. There's blood in the water and the media and other private dicks will continue to look for every shred of dirt.

This also indicates Erickson, you know the guy who is part of the healign process, was at least peripherally involved in this incident and was aware. Yeah PSU really cleaned house didnt they.

Wowl This is a must read. MUST READ! Also, pay close attention to the 1st paragraph. Draw your own conclusions......these findings are probably not earth shattering to those who really cared most about the quality of academics at PSU.

I agree. And I work with a project manager who used to tutor football players and was fired by JoePa for not cowtowing to his demands to do the work for his players. So I believe it.

Also agree. Must read for sure. Reilly hit the bulls-eye with that article.
I have to add. Who was this professor?

Or was it a message from Gaad?

Not to beat a dead horse on a very sensitive issue. BUT! I don't see many African/American students in those riot photos. It's a racists town. state college could actually be in southern Alabama and you wouldn't know the difference.

The entire town of state college should be held accountable and they should all feel the pain of "THE VICTIMS"

Pappy is on this one. I've said it before 10X. Go check NCAAP and JDL (Jewish Defense League)#'s. Synagogues within a 50 mile radius had all previously been defaced at a rate that was the highest in the state..It became a wise, cost effective decision to employ a guard to protect the building, 24 hrs. a day.
Security cameras reveled the mf--ker they hired, defacing the property at a rate that was no different than the previous rate of defacement. They changed employees over and over and all the same results.
So, they interviewed all the employees and came to one conclusion," We are........... Nazi pricks with the brain of a broccoli sprout"

That's why you don't make a search for a football coach your first priority, and instead just pick the next in-house guy in line to take over the entire feakin' university. I said that six months ago and am still screaming it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a complete mess that place is.

PSU had decades of racial problems. I do think they addressed some serious issues the last decade, but it was bad there through the 90s. There are dozens of articles about just from the late 90s internet archives.

I hope this doesn't offend Greg, but growing up and Altoona, there were plenty of flat out racists in that area. And confederate flags were not hard to find on the back of pickups. Redneck culture, in some of its unflattering manifestations, is very well alive and present in centra/rural PA. Not that it is true for all people, or even most, but there is a sizable enough proportion that it was noticeable.

Apparently this doesnt meet the qualifications of "lack of institutional control" listed by the ncaa. Psu will get off with no punishment

Actually it's the total opposite. It's total institutional control. Maybe the NCAA should rethink their wording in this case.
