I'm hearing a lot of good things about this kid having a nice year and having some NBA buzz around him. Did Pitt miss the boat on him? Where would he be playing right now if he was at Pitt and would he be helping out the current team as well as years past.
Wasn't there a center from McKeesport that Pitt recruited that went to Marshall too? Whatever happened to him?
Kane is a good player but probably wouldn't be a starter at Pitt, he's a really poor shooter, although this year he averages 8 assists per game. Similiar player to Patterson but I think Patterson is better and Lamar is a full 2 years younger.
Zeke Marshall went to Akron and is really good. He averages 12 pts, 8 rebs, and 4.5 blocks a game. I think Akron had the major he wanted and Pitt didn't.
May have been a grades issue? He was from Schenley and very close with Blair. I believe he did a year in prep school before Marshall.
The center is Zeke Marshall and he went to Akron. Very big 7 footer but was very skinny and a bit of a project due to strength out of high school. He was a lower level Top 100 recruit until after he signes and he decided early while Pitt was focused on others. A big wasn't too important in that class as Dante Taylor and Talib Zanna were signed that year in addition to Lamar Patterson and JJ Richardson. Pitt also lost out on the Fitzgerald kid at Oklahoma now that year.
