Good luck to yall next season and congrats on the big 5 star linemen. I believe RF is choosing Bama though. Too much exposure and a great chance of really getting his talent seen week in and out. Not to mention playing in ALOT of really big time games. If it was a heart decision it would be Pitt, unfortunately when you are as talented as Robert it usually is a business decision. I think he chooses Bama.
Is your confidence based on you not believing that a kid could pick Pitt over Bama (which I can understand) or do you know something? It seems almost every non-biased person thinks he is picking Pitt.
I can translate your post into "Why would anyone pick Pitt over Bama?". It has nothing to do with Foster. Your arrogance may be warranted, but it has no bearing on Robert Foster.
It's not impossible that he picks Bama, but in this context, with this recruit, if it's Bama, it's an upset.

I think you took me out of context. I understand that players choose teams for different reasons. Its not arrogance its fact that alot of players want to play in big games on the brightest stage. Some players dont. Robert has been quoted saying he wants to play on a big stage. Please dont take any disrespect from my post. I just call them like I see them.
I like Alabama and Pittsburgh as I've grown up in Pittsburgh but lived in Birmingham. If Foster was worried about the Great exposure it wouldn't be Pittsburgh against Alabama. His mother wants him at Pitt. That might not be the deciding factor but when you consider Shell, Kincade, Boyd, Foster and others have all discussed turning the Pitt Football program around openly. Those guys are all committed except Foster. I will be surprised if Pitt isn't his choice.
As for it being a business decision Pitt does a Great job with putting kids in the NFL and a lot less roadblocks for Foster at Pitt.
Good Luck beating the Irish I'm guessing about 41-10 Bama
No I have no inside info, just alot of rumors of people claiming they know this person or that person that knows Robert. I am making my prediction based off what Robert has said he wants to do with his career. Again its JMO. I wouldnt be surpised to see him go either way.
I can understand your side of the prediction as well. Logistics have always been the thing that holds Robert from committing a long time ago. Good luck on Friday. Hes a great player and I hope he gets/has settled everything in the classroom regardless of the team he chooses.
I dont think any of us know either way really. Everything we've heard is that its Pitt but that still doesnt make me very confident. Bama is obviously a much better program.
Robert was going to commit to Bama a couple weeks back after his official to us. Someone in his camp (coach) did the right thing and calmed him down. He was 100% Bama bound and I am glad that his coach made him step back and think about things. It would be better for everyone involved that he makes this decision with a clear unclouded mind. That way the commit sticks and he truly goes where he needs to go.
He also almost committed to Pitt on his visit which was after the Bama visit. I really dont know. I think he will pick Pitt bc he will likely start next year along with many of his friends (Rushel Shell, Devin Street) and his cousin (Todd Thomas). He is also friends with Tyler Boyd who likely will be choosing Pitt and 2013 QB commit Chandler Kincade. Im not confident though.
I sure hope it is Pitt and I am remaining confident it will be. If he chooses Bama, I can honestly say it would be a kick to the gut for me. I haven't wanted to see Pitt land a recruit like Foster in my lifetime. I just believe he is the real deal and will prove so in college. I think he will be a Panther. That is strictly my gut feeling.
Kincade is a 2014 recruit.
Whoops, I knew that but said 2014.
Im having a rough day today, haha.
Have you already forgot about Shell? haha.
I am not gonna lie we want Robert BAD! We also understand there are other factors that come into play other than winning. The kid is an elite talent and wish him nothing but the best. Would love to see him catching TDs in Crimson next year but I also respect his choice if he chooses Pitt as well. Atleast neither team has to worry about competing against him every year lol.
Lol to put it into perspective I want Pitt to land Foster even more than I wanted Shell.
I dont know if it changes things but we just had a 4 star WR that decommited from USC and wanted to come to bama but was never given a commitable scholarship offer. He was going to wait till after Robert Foster announced Friday. He went ahead and announced UCLA yesterday.
I'd be very disappointed to lose Foster now. That said if we can't get Foster into Pitt, at least it isn't PSU, OSU, WVU, or ND or even a conference team he'd play for. I would certainly respect his decision if he chose Bama- as much as I love Pitt I would have to be considering Bama too if I was in his situation. I hope Foster picks Pitt understand either way.
Good luck to you guys in the NC game. I hope you beat ND by 50 and shut them up. Ill never forget the 2010 game out there at ND and how obnoxious their fans are.
Are you saying we won't be in the national championship game next season?
After what ND did this year I will never count anyone out.
As a business decision Foster would be a fool not to choose Pitt.
Know what i'm saying? Of course not .. Alabama folks are a little slow.
Pitt has a great track record with putting local talent into the NFL. I've heard plenty of issues local kids have had leaving for the greener grass down south and it turns out to be not so green.
Also .. if it's about winning a national title then so be it. He should go to Alabama.
But how many kids up north give a crap about national football titles. They have bigger dreams .. the NFL namely.
Didn't Goadie put an end to this speculation about a day or two ago? He said he's gonna say Pitt Friday.
Sorry Bama, I like the program, but I think ND deserves the MNC this year. They play in my eyes the toughest schedule in football year in and year out and I believe they should be rewarded with it. I hate how college football currently schedules.
