Got that, I'm not insulting the kid. Just relaying what has been put out. He still has work to do in the classroom and is not a for sure qualifier. But you have to admit, comparing all the crap like past players coached by past coaching staffs is irrelevant. All you should look at is the current staffs. Bama's is proven time and time again to the tune of 4 National titles by himself and tons of high draft picks. Why else would he not pick Bama, who runs a "PRO" style offense (and he wants to go pro) and play for a coach who has proven to be successful at putting you in the league? I am not saying he will pick Bama. Hell, I honestly think he is going to Pitt. Home means that much to him IMO. There is nothing wrong with that either
Bama has receivers that don't even start that are way better than any on Pitt's roster. It's called playing in a conference that actually plays defense, instead of playing in that basketball conference Pitt plays in.
LOL...that I will give ya
Oh, my fellow posters will tell you that I'm annoyingly willing to tell them when they're being dumb, too. But if we have outsiders being dumb, my preference is to focus on them first. I'm sure you can understand.
EDIT: we also shouldn't have a moving target. Is the question what we think Foster *does* care about, which would lead to better predictions, or what Foster *should* care about, which just leads to bickering?

Who you got better than Amari Cooper?
Wait. Pitt has a football message board?
Bama true freshman receiver Amari Cooper - 1st team Freshman All-America team. Probably looks pretty good to Foster.
The Eye on College Football team names their 2012 Freshman All-Americans.
Most definitley....this is actually civil. I like it
1 - If he wants to play in a packed stadium then you got us there.
2 - Facilities? If there is a difference in quality of facilities then it can't be significant at all. Scratch that off the list.
3 - Coaching .. well .. i don't see how this matters. It's usually the relationship between the coach and the recruits that matter. If you mean coaching success, then that would fall under the category of "wanting to win a national title."
4 - TV exposure .. was the Week 12 ALabama cupcake game on TV .. the week before Thanksgiving during the height of the football season? At any rate .. 90% of the games are on TV these days.
5 - Tradition .. soooo .. how does this directly benefit a recruit?
6 - Fans??? Doesn't this tie in to #1 about stadium?
7 - I forgot one .. my bad .. Gameday Environment. Oh good lord. Are you dense? That's the same as fans and stadium again. I told you that you can't float that BS in here. Didn't i tell you that? Stop trying to repackage this crap and sell it back to me. I already bought the stadium argument.
Good God you are full of fail.
Hey numbnuts no kidding Alabama has talented players on its roster....Pitt is in its first season with a new and respected coach trying to build its program.....Nobody cares about your accomplishments......
Why are you here continuing to try and justify your program? Are you guys insecure? You shouldn't
Well that was clever....another quality graduate of the University of Alabama
Pitt gets exposure? Really? Oh yeah, they do show 10 second clips of Pitt getting hammered by some no-name team during halftime of some of Bama's nationally televised prime-time games on CBS or ESPN. If that's what you mean by exposure. Oh, look who's on the front page of ESPN's CFB page...again....

Wow! Must have hit a nerve. Didn't realize we elevated to name calling. I'll stay above the 3rd grade mentality and simly respond: I thought we were having a civil discussion/disagreement about the two programs. Its what fans do.
Yep Pitt is never on tv
It's become pointless.
They keep beating the dead horse about how Alabama is so amazing at football and how anyone who cares about football would choose them because they have great football there and care so much about football.
Ask for specifics .. and they give you crap like .. tradition and structure to succeed and accountability.
Here's what i think .. i think these bozos are the same guys who BS the last 15 pages of a 20-page research paper. That's essentially what they're doing with their lists of reasons to choose Alabama over Pitt. "Uhhhhh durrrrr .. i can't think of no more reasons after #2 .. so i guess i'll just make something up .. uhhhh durrr .. accountability! Yeah .. that's a good one."
You just described my academic career, other than the papers where I begin the fictions after Point Number One.
No nerve hit....Just telling it like I see it...
Would it be better if I just deleted numbnuts?
This further shows your ignorance as to what highschool kids look at across the board...They do care about accomplishment. Especially if it is recent and current.
Well if I am a parent and thinking of my kids future it is not all about football because at anytime an injury can crush all hopes of playing in the NFL. I would want my son to go to a school that gave him a great free education and a good opportunity to get him to the NFL rather than a school that obviously everything revolves around Football and National Championships as you so nicely stated to us all. I arppreciate you pointing that out about how GREAT Alabama football is(and is pretty damn good)but there is much more to it in the long run and there is no place like home!!!! Just my 2 cents.
If thats the language you like to address people by...by all means keep it.
Almost as clever as your fans using outdated, southern stereotypes.
Let me rephrase like I said in my first post in this thread.....The majority of Pitt fans don't care....And probably about 90% of the rest of the country outside of Alabama........and ultimately Robert Foster isn't going to care
After the first half of the Alabama/Michigan game, i seriously doubt anyone outside of the southeast watched another Alabama game until about week 10.
