1st. Thank you for Tony Dorsett
2nd. Why did y'all accept mark may's commitment way back when? What a hypocritical penis cousy. I mean the grown man has multiple dui's and he calls football a disgrace for partying and not breaking the law?
Y'all must have not have known the shame he would bring you down the road when you accepted him. I mean the guy gets owned by Lou Holtz on the reg. My God...what an embarrassment.
Anyways just wanted your thoughts and opinions on why y'all would allow such a character to disgrace your fine university's name. TIA.
Ps how do y'all see the season shaping up? Can y'all muster a bowl game? Whose your coach these days?
Pss does he read the boards?

Maybe you should have asked does anyone read the boards......
Proverbs 10:4 (NIV)
Lazy hands make for poverty,
but diligent hands bring wealth.
How do y'all allow such a character as Manziel disgrace your fine university's name???
Mark May calls out y'all's boy and now you feel the need to come to the Pitt board. lol
What does this mean? Translation anyone? I'm serious. Just look at this embarrassment to the English language .. appreciate it in all its idiotic glory .. then translate it for me. I have no clue. Disgrace for NOT breaking the law?
Honestly i have no idea what this guy is even referring to. Did Mark May do something wrong? And i guess Jalen Rose is a thorn in Michigan's side too since he was arrested for DUI. I'm guessing every university has its law breakers, but as long as you can proclaim football greatness from the seat of your couch then it's all good.
My official response is this: Ask the Pitt administrators and coaches who were presiding over Pitt's football program at the time of May's recruitment. We are fans and have earned no right to claim responsibilty for the successes of the program and do not deserve to be chastised for its failings. I believe you are a bit too emotional. It's amateur athletics. Get over it, Bubba.
Dude, when you learn to speak English, we'll talk to you.
Hail to Pitt.
I couldn't care less what Mark May said about Johnny Football or anything else. However, your obvious lack of command of the English language is downright troubling. If you are an immigrant and English is not your first language then I understand. However, if you were born, raised an educated in this country, you should strongly consider suing your grammar teachers as they have obviously let you down.

You do realize that is the exact opposite of how every Pitt fan treats PSU fans in regards to the Sandusky mess don't you?
Dominate The State
You are obviously incorrect.
Ok well other than yourself, I've yet to see one Pitt fan on here state that you can't hold PSU fans responsible for the actions of the schools players/coaches/administrators.
We don't fan across the internet defending past administrations heinous decisions to the core when even having to resort to all sorts of nutjob conspiracy theories. Nor to we proudly display badges of defiance to the rest of the world that dares condemn the most vile actions in the history of modern sports.
The inability to gain the slightest perspective is telling and sad.

I don't believe it is the "exact opposite." And i don't believe i am the only rational fan of Pitt football.
At this point you're simply mincing words but ok, instead of "exact opposite" I'll say "pretty much opposite" or "mostly opposite." As far as rational Pitt fans, yes there are alot of them that realize that PSU fans got a raw deal and just wanna stick up for their school. The problem is that other than yourself, none of them exist on this board.

Then stay off the Pitt board, Nitter!
I try to until Pitt posters put stuff up directed at PSU fans!
008, you are on a roll my man. Well said and so true.
I just don't understand the intertwining of ones identity with college athletics. Its "ENTERTAINMENT" folks, not life or death. Pitts sports teams don't identify who I am and the University in general has very little to do with who I am. Folks who are embarrassed by their sports team or even their University need to reassess their priorities in life.
A "Real PITT MAN"............get off my porch!
I'm not mincing words. I'm trying to prevent you from guiding perception away from reality. So far it's not working.
How did PSU fans get a raw deal? Did the $60MM come out of your pocket? Do you have a son playing for PSU? Are you related to Paterno, Curly, Shultz, or Spanier? Has your degree been devalued to the point where you wont be able to get a job?
The ONLY harm PSU fans have suffered in this JS saga has been self inflicted (turning over cars, associating with Kooks like Zeigler., believing clouds in they sky are truly JOe trying to speak with them, and in general exhibiting cult like behavior in defending the image of their God, JP.).
The fact that you chimed in on this thread is just further evidence that you JOEBOTS are in serious need of counseling. I must say that knowing that you feel so persecuted in all of this and go to great lengths to right the perceived wrong is incredibly amusing. Knowing that your life has been diminished by the fate of a dead coach and a college sport that is meant for entertainment is amusing as well. Seriously son, go get help before its too late.
i'm picturing yosemite sam typing on a keyboard, pounding his fist on the desk. varmint!
Your fellow posters are doing a fine job without me.
PSU fans got a raw deal just like any fan base gets a raw deal when the NCAA punishes a school and its fans for the actions or inaction of it's coaches/administrators. In PSU's case I won't be able to watch my alma mater compete for a B1G championship or a national championship for the next 3 years and possibly longer due to the sanctions. Is this something that keeps me up at night? No, but like any sports fan of any team I would like to see my team compete for a championship. Trust me my life has been in no way diminished by the death of JoePa and I do view sports strictly as entertainment. However, like yourself, it's something I am passionate about and enjoy engaging in conversation with people about. That's why I post on a sports message board.
I really find it interesting that any attempt to have a rational conversation with you guys quickly degenerates into a bunch of name-calling and assumptions by Pitt fans about PSU fans. You know absolutely NOTHING about me, yet you feel you can make these wild accusations. It's very simple-minded.
I know your obsessed with defending the image of Paterno and the FB program to the point of spending time doing so on a message board for a team that most PSU fans say is irrelevant and that they don't care about.............At the very least that is incredibly odd behavior.
For once i'm happy a thread has been hijacked by Sandusky.
This thread had nothing to do with PSU until one of their fans participated. I'm sure the PSU board is not pleased.
You call the opening thread on this post rational? Y'all can ream Mark May's azzole. We have May, Marino, Ditka, Yogi Roth, Steve Israel and Scott Kaplan and John Congemi on national tv. You have Todd Blackledge and Jerry Sandusky. We have had Schottenheimer, Joe Walton and Ditka as pro head coaches. You have zero, zilch, nada, gornicht
And from the Who's immortal classic, Tommy: We forsake you
Gonna rape you
Let's forget go
I'm not obsessed with defending Paterno, notice how you are the only person that keeps bringing up JoePa? The only reason I come onto this board is to look for information about WPIAL recruits that PSU is recruiting. That is until I saw all the stuff about PSU. As far Pitt being irrelevant, it's hard to argue with the facts, 30+ years of 3 or more losses per season is hard to argue against. Having said that, Pitt isn't the only program that has been irrelevant for a long period of time. ND was irrelevant for a long time, PSU will be irrelevant on the college football landscape for atleast the next 3 seasons. I know alot of PSU fans don't care about Pitt but I personally do. I live in Pittsburgh, I grew up in Johnstown, and I have a bunch of friends that went to Pitt. I would love to see Pitt and PSU play every year and hopefully it will happen.
Well, that was a fun read. Thanks for the laugh.
It looks as if Mr. May is doing his job quite well if he gets this kind of reaction for pointing out the obvious during the off season.
There are quite a few questions posed by the quality of your post, but only one that I really want answered.
What the hell is, "Pss"?
Are you trying to interject Latin into your already weak writing skills? That's the only thing I can come up with.
If that's what you were going for, you should know that it's PS, as in Post Script - meaning after letter. If one needs to add something after the "after letter" in Latin, he would add a PPS, or post, post script, not pss.
If it's something else that your were trying to convey, I'd love to hear what that is.
I will give you some credit. Your post makes you look more intelligent than most of the Penn State fans who like to post on our board. So, for that, well done.
