Well if they are found not guilty then they actually didn't cover up for anyone.
You know better than that.
If they all said he had nothing to do with it, and if Curley could somehow tell a reasonable story about how he changed his mind, then I'd probably be,I've Joe wasn't involved. But it would have to be a pretty gosh darned persuasive story.
Just a hunch, but as somebody with the other screen name of "PSUJTO409", I hardly think you're a neutral party. Add to that that your first two posts are on this board with your Mr. Lawyer Guy name is regarding something that is indefensible.
Again, just a hunch.
Whatever story benefits the 3 Stooges most is what they will tell. If they are better served to say JoPa knew, then they will or visa versa,
Freeh already uncovered emails with "Paterno" and "coach" referenced when asking for updates on the issue. He knew, end of story.
So, if they say "coach" was someone else. What is that "coach" going to say?
This is just sad... Kijana brings up The Second Mile and the fact that the admins told them about '01 and people on here try to argie that the SM is irrelevant. Grasping for straws to say the least. Plus, Mike McQueary testified in the pre-trial hearing that Paterno/Curley/Schultz/Spanier never told him to keep quiet about what he saw. Not
Once. In fact, McQuery testified that Paterno followed up with him a few months later to ask how he was feeling. So McQueary tells his father and doctor, and then tells Paterno, ho goes and tells Curley, who goes and tells Schultz/Spanier/Raykovitz, Raykovitz then tells at least two other Board members at The Second Mile. So at that point at least 10 people know what's up, and no one tells anyone else to keep quiet. Great cover-up.. I'll have to remember that if you want to cover something up, make sure at least 10 people know within two weeks.
I know, of course, that I wasted my time typing this because someone will just fire back with the "Joe had to know" BS. You guys are so blinded with hate that even if Freeh came out and said that his conclusions were wrong, you would still hold on to them. I remember going to PITT boards on scout and rivals when this whole thing blew up an the fans there were literally doing backflips and high fiving each other because Sandusky raped boys which you thought would finally give Pitt the advantage in football success...

I love how you KOOLAIDE drinking cultists take snippets of info and twist it or leave out additional facts to fit your mission to clear your cult leader if any wrong doing
This is yet a other example. Yes one of the three stooges, curly, did tell the second mile. But here is what he told him.
According to the grand jury presentment, Curley told Raykovitz only that someone had witnessed something inappropriate, it was investigated and the result was to tell Sandusky not to shower on campus with kids.
Unlike the three stooges and their puppet master your Cult leader, they didn't know about 1998 and they didn't know what MM told them.
This is much like many if the other distorted talking points the cult comes up with. The one Iove is that "Sandusky wasn't convicted of anal rape with victim 2" as if he did nothing. I suppose for you cult members though who think showering naked with a young boy is ok, doing something if a sexual nature is nothing to get all worked up about since it wasn't clearly anal rape MY God you cats are sick
Your right though Pitt fans are the only ones outraged by all this. Very few of the major newspapers or media outlets are as repulsed by what the three stooges and Jokepa did and over 90 pct of the country think the three stooges and Jokepa are the real victims
Only Pitt fans are "out to get ups"
A "Real PITT MAN"............get off my porch!
McQueary was so distraught over what he saw, that he was reluctant to tell anyone. He went to his father, who suggested he tell the Dr, who then told him he had to tell Paterno. So he reluctantly did so. How many more people do you think he was eager to go tell? He was so sickened that he was not willing to utter those words again. You can tell that from his testimony later as well.
I love your PSU math. What branch campus did you attend? The 3 Stooges, JokePa & McQueary is 5, Raykovitz & 2 others is 3 for a total of 8. Here is the rub on your logic though; ALL 8 had a vested interest to keep quiet. FraudPa & the Stooges wanted to keep the cash cow rolling and winning games, McQuery wanted to stay employed at PSU, and the 2nd Milers needed to charity to remain in existence for financial reasons. Great logic nonetheless. Not that I ever expect you Koolaiders to reach.
Okay. But what you said, is more damning and reeks of a cover up than it does shed light on not a cover up. I don't get the defense of "all these other people knew" to try and exonerate Joe. He knew. Joe was the most powerful person in State College. All of you PSU people have told this over and over. About how he knew everything. That he had the pulse of the school, knew if a kid skipped class, knew if a player jay walked, all this stuff. We all have heard this from PSU fans, media and ex players for the past 20 years.
So this guy, this omniscient, the head of the program, the number 1 guy, the guy the library is on it, the guy most of you say you use as a moral compass, "the don" so to speak, and you all are now trying to say that "he didn't know" or "he didn't understand?" Do you know how pathetic that sounds? Do you know why EVERYONE outside your community just shakes your head.
And if 10 people knew, they likely drew their que from Joe. Joe ran the school. He was PSU. YOU GUYS WOULD NOT BE HOLDING VIGILS FOR HIM IF HE WAS MERELY A FOOTBALL COACH! I capitalized that for effect. You all have said this. He was Penn State. And I don't care if 100 people knew, they were waiting for Joe to give the blessing on what to do. And he was Pontius Pilate. Sorry. That is the reality. That is not Blind Hatred. 25 years of Penn State fans testimony on the great Joe, and now you all want to revise his role.

My prediction is that Curley, Moe and Larry will testify in the manner their attorneys advise them best serves their acquittal or mitigation of guilt. One interpretation is that they'll put more blame on Joe than is already out there. Joe is dead and can't defend himself. The three conspirators are fighting for their future lives and the lives of their families. On the other hand, if PSU and the Paternos vow to "take care" of them and their families as the Mafia of yesteryear did their troops who did time, then testimony could shift.
These are three lying bastards and what they will say on the stand will likely have no relation to reality. The sworn oath with the American flag waving(does Obama still allow the flag in courtrooms?) means nothing to them.
In the immortal words of Dylan(Zimmerman)," Don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows".
My quote is from Subterranean Homesick Blues- arguably, the first rap song ever.
C'mon Kayser. You're talking to master MC Ike. I used a little liberty for amusement purposes.

Well, since I can see by your screen name and the fact that you declared yourself as such that you are CLEARLY a neutral third party on this issue and your intentions are obviously as pure as the driven snow - just like JoePa's. Therefore, I will answer your question thoroughly.
Were that to happen, yes, I would take back everything bad I have said about Paterno and his involvement in what appears to the entire world that exists outside of the Penn State bubble to have been a brazen cover up of myriad child rape all in the name of protecting the football program's image and the football coach's reputation.
To me it's like the OJ Simpson thing. Hey, once a JURY OF HIS PEERS found him innocent of double-murder, what choice did I have but to respect their decision and to make sure that everyone else understood that OJ was innocent as well? OJ was innocent people - a jury said so! Joe will be exonerated through that exact same iron clad legal system!
I know this guy ^^^^^^^ Good to have you here.
Is this the distinguished Gene Parm...........aka Dr. Von Yinzer
I hope so. I need to talk some HAWKEY with the good Dr. Parmesean.
