What do you guys think will happen Saturday morning?
Pitt 35 Louisville 17 Upset Special of the week, ruins Cardinals season.
Pitt 28 - Louisville 20.
My first thought was 31 - 20, but I can't be sure of a FG scored by Pitt.
Pitt24 Louisville20. Incidentally, I talked to Wh4p three minutes before Cuse and he predicted Cuse would win 30-20 and we'd come back to beat Louisville. I told him I expected a thriller with us squeezing out a last minute victory. I also predicted the game, a 7PM EST start, would have his scrotum tingling at 10PM. At that exact time,Holtz caught a pass, lowered his shoulder and knocked a defender out at the Cuse 11. We then proceeded to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I predict this game will start at 11:00 AM and Kayser will be ready with his game face on. 8:00 AM PCT. Whoa. It's a good thing this man lives in the wilderness.
I will contact you minutes before the game. I will talk to you, your dog Gus and have a seance with the dear departed Duke. This will all be in Swedish.
Bridgewater eats us alive...31-19
Divorced, getting fit and trying to keep my head above water
Just saw to many negatives last week. Too much regression and things ul can exploit. We never stopped the spread option last week cuse didn't run it enough. Ul will and they will create pressure. 11am is early so Pitt will have the advantage. But ul will come on and win 31-20.
I may have to change my mind - Phil Steele is picking the Panthers.
Phil Steele offers up his four bold predictions for Week 7, including why Pittsburgh will take down undefeated Louisville and his pick for Notre Dame-Stanford.
We play OK at home and I think R. Graham will be more effective after getting a stern talking to about dancing around in the backfield. Shell will get more carries and JP Holtz will most probably start the game in place of H. Graham.
Everyone is talking about how great Louisville's offense is but in reality they are 70th in total offense ( Rushing- 58th; Passing- 63rd). Our defense can contain them - the key will be not giving up the big play bt Bridgewater on the ground.
Our offense is better than theirs and their defense is good but not great either (80th in Pass. Eff. defense). I think Sunseri has a big day tomorrow and we pull out a win.
This program is a complete enigma. Just when you think they have something good going they chit the bed. When you are at the point of giving up on them they pull out a nice win. I guess that's what mediocre teams do. So given that they should pull an upset but I've lost any kind of feel for this team. I don't think UL is particularly good but I'm going to use the same approach indie for VT and say they get curb stomped and hope I'm pleasantly surprised.
I do agree with Perez that there were some signs from the cuse game that were alarming. Unable to run the bal and the cuse was able to gash us on he ground at times.
A "Real PITT MAN"............get off my porch!
I'm placing my faith in the coaching to get it done. I don't think Charlie Strong gets the most out of his team. PC has something to prove because frankly the season has been one of the worst in Pitt history. Once upon a time, losing to D1AA and having the biggest win coming against VPI would have been considered unimaginable. Coincidentally, this season, VPI is having a flashback to the good ol days too. There is a lot to prove tomorrow.
Reed is da man!
Inexplicably PITT wins. tiny has a big game. I believe in this PITT defense. They shut down a really good passing offense last week.
PITT 31- louie 17
Bridgewater = Daniels = they both suck balls.
UL is a bunch of pansies and Pitt will punish them with their physicality
Pitt wins 24-10 with Russy Shell, R. Graham and Shanahan getting the TD's.
