You never have enough elite prospects period!!! Not saying that anyone paid anything but if someone did they wouldn't base it on position and depth chart. They would base it on scouting and perception of how good a player could be.
I believe this is absolutely true.
I think this is a decent summary to a topic that has been beaten to death
A "Real PITT MAN"............get off my porch!
The only thing I dislike about this 'money' line of thinking is that it truly casts aspersions on both Robert Foster and his parents. in essence PITT fans are calling them criminals just because the kid didn't choose PITT.
I don't think that is fair or reasonable.
I may be wrong but accepting cash from a school to attend is not a crime. And in fact if the parents take the money and the kid doesn't know it, it's not even against NCAA rules. So while I'm not going to speak for other Pitt fans I'm not calling them criminal. Opportunistic is more appropriate and quite frankly I can't say I blame them or look down on. Them
This is absolutely true Nick. The groundwork and rules were set by the Newtons.
I haven't read many criticisms of the Fosters for taking money. Who is referring to them as criminals, other than you Reed?
