Cleveland is just fooling around till after the mnc game. I mean they "were close" to hiring obrien, marrone, and chip Kelly. All seem like leaked reports. I feel nick saban is legitimately in play.
If that's true about St. Nick, it would be too funny. I kinda believe him when he says he wants to stay at Bama - but I hope he leaves them high and dry.
I was thinking the sam thing wh4p.....If cleveland really, really wanted him they could have locked him up by now......
Maybe he wants to stay at Alabama. If he goes he'll have to get use to losing for awhile. If he stays he'll keep winning.
Why give up a good thing?
Ask chip Kelly.
A common observation is that he hates having to win EVERY game to consider a season a success. A 10-6 season in the NFL is generally a success. A similar winning percentage at Alabama means flaming bags of poo on your front step.
That's a good point. I guess I'm speaking from my own perspective. I'd rather have more wins. That it would be easier to do at Alabama.
It also depends on your tolerance for flaming bags of poo. Personally, I think they're pretty nifty.
Flaming bags of poo - isn't that the name of a heavy metal band from Cleveland?
Kissing kids asses at the age of 15 through 18 to get them to commit.
having to to listen to parents bitch and moan and also having to kiss their asses.
having to answer to a bunch of prominent boosters
having to work 24/7/365 recruiting
having to rely on 18-21 year old kids being perfect in order to compete for a title.
There are a LOT of negatives to being a college coach vs NFL. Oh, and he'll make more $$ in the NFL.
