According to Bob's twitter, Uconn also offered Britton a gray shirt. If its between a gray shirt at Pitt and a gray shirt at UConn he's very likely to choose Pitt.
I don't get it. Why go after him to eat a ship from a small 2014 class if there are a ton of WPIAL linebackers who are probably better than him?
There are no guarantees in anything....If the coaches like him and think he could help Pitt then do it....
By all accounts he is a pretty good athlete
It sounds like his altheticism is very high. I think Bob compared him to Todd Thomas with his size and speed. I think that is the reason to take a chance on him. He is very limited in experience but are there a lot of WPIAL LB's next year that are as good of athletes that he is and project with his size? Currently 6'3" and about 210lbs that will probably play closer to 230lbs. It will be good to see him in the Big 33 and watch how he looks.
Divorced, getting fit and trying to keep my head above water
I'd like to see that list....and remember, it has to be a ton of players better. lol. Too funny.
I thought Dom's only issue in college is he could be a horrid tackler at times. Other than that, I thought he was pretty good.
Though he improved with experience (I think he was a smart player.), he was always a half-step behind because of his lack of natural instincts at safety.
His tackling was inconsistent because he lacked the dexterity in that much space.
He was OK at safety, but IMO, he could've been great at OLB.
this. with the chicago bears he moved to linebacker and actually got game minutes.
as for britton, i wonder why they stopped recruiting him. Maybe there are off field issues or maybe they are just trying the get this class over with.
