I thought I would throw this guy's name out. Possibly leads PITT in rushing this year??
IMO, the only way MC leads Pitt in rushing this year if if both RS and IB are injured. I just haven't been impressed by MC. I guess he's young, but what have you seen that leads you to the possibility of him being the rushing leader?
I think Bennett has shown more - Bennett ran tough in his freshman year; didn't get to do much of anything last season.
Bennett had 4.9 ypc and scored three TDs this year - all on 29 carries. Compare that to Graham's 4.7 and Shell's 4.5. Bennett's TD production was off the charts with a TD every 9+ carries. Shell had a 35:1 TD ratio and Graham's was 20:1.
He did well when called on this season but was stuck behind two starters. I think Bennett has a breakout year in 2013.
I'm not sure about being the leading rusher but I'm with Papp in that I think mc has a really nice year. His running style reminds me of Charles Gladman.
A "Real PITT MAN"............get off my porch!
ive been a fan of crockett since before the 2012 fall camp started but i dont see him being the leading rusher. I see more of a 50/40/10 split of shell/bennett/crockett. I think crockett will be what bennett was this year--- stuck behind two starters. Then again, the old staff liked crockett more than bennett and thought he had more of an upside so i suppose anything can happen. Crockett has really good burst and good speed so they may use him in assing situations to get him out into the open field.
I think Crockett has potential pappy.....You called it on Manny Williams last year, too bad he got hurt
