Congratulations to Pitt's diving family, the Krugs

  • The daughter of long time Pitt diving coach Julius Krug, Cassidy, won the US Olympic 3m Springboard Diving trials and is headed to London.

    Cassidy dove for the Pitt Aquatics Club and then at Stanford, gave up the sport to work in the alumni office, and then returned to diving. At 27, this is her first Olympics.

    Just watched her win on NBC. They did show her dad being a diving coach at the University of Pittsburgh two different times.

    Congrats to the Krug family!
