UL can't cut it academically for ACC standards. ACC not in a hurry to replace MD because the piece of the pie just got bigger for everyone else in the ACC. If ESPN coughs up more money to the ACC to expand again you can bet it will be for UCONN to join since ESPN is headquartered in Bristol Conn.

And furthermore, why would ESPN get to dictate who the ACC adds? WTH has ESPN done for the ACC? The relatively small amount that the ACC gets in its TV contract is part of the problem.
