Dixon talks about the intricacies of rebounding and playing at MSG
"As far as places to go, [Madison Square Garden] is the place we've played in second most other than home games. We love going back to the Garden. We look forward to playing there," Dixon said. "We'll have a lot of family and friends there. We look forward to playing there. That’s exciting."
I wonder if Jamie will try to schedule St. John's as an OOC game in the future.
This is exactly what concerns me about Jamie.
His obsession with shot selection turns the players I to robots who pass up good shoots working for the prefect shot that Jamie wants. You can almost see them thinking out there on offense
I'm all for preaching not to take bad shots. But it seems our players are so concerned about it that it destroys their creativity and limits their natural ability. Against Nd it wasn't shot selection it was nobody wanted to take an open shot when they had it.
This is why guys like JJM Johnson and Patterson look so the tube out there. They are over coached on offense
I hope I'm wrong but as excited as I was about the. Stretch run before the last two games I'm concerned this team may tank down the stretch. It's not that they lost but how they lost. The SJU game will be very telling

Hell... most the passes are around the perimeter and have nothing to do w/ setting up anyone for a shot... just winding clock. Then... w/ around 10 secs left... panic sets in - and voila... bad shot. Hmmm...
