Phaser - I think it is pretty refreshing to hear a HC with a different POV. I'm sure he feels like these practices benefit the returning roster players overall but I believe he is correct in that it makes no difference as to the actual spring practices.

Spring is when the staff can start putting into play all the decisions and plans they have made over the off season... and that is slanted only toward returning players whereas these practices encompass all the kids - less some seniors have extra time off. But all the starting underclassmen have been practicing because we'll have the same starting cast when we play Ole Miss as we did against USF.
